I would say they obviously do care.

I don’t know the history of BLM but would guess that good people will have started it for the right reasons, as it grew and got the media attention more idiots who don’t give a **** joined in and now they steal all the attention.

What do the news want to show, a group peacefully campaigning or a mob smashing up a shop?

Surely the people running BLM have condemned the looters?

Good possibility. But you will see growingly on You tube there are more and more Black Folk who disagree with your stance on the subject.

Ive met Folk who don't think in the same narrow world you do. ....You should talk more....

Oh the irony.......

Apparently so but if you were here you wouldn’t think so, nothings changed since the tiers were introduced. But I don’t often go to the pub or gym anyway.

Here’s a new thread for you

I always know when we go into lockdown or up a tier or two - my neighbour starts getting visits from family and friends! Don’t see 'em for the rest of the year.

I know what you mean

During the first lockdown I continued not going to the shops as I always did

Im not Sharp because I agree with some black people.....

Careful does it Notch
No edge Bodd as in easy going laid back pleasant sort of chap.No axe to grind unlike some on here who spend every waking moment raging at Life.

Oh the irony.......

Im not sure about the Irony but I do talk to people. Mainly because Im a nice fella. I love talking to others about their culture their experiences in this country. When you do they open up.
You then realise we are not all that different.

Working Tower Hamlets years back stones throw from the the Square mile. All the old Eastenders would get the tea and biscuits out and talk old times. Surprisingly they all knew the Cray twins.

The Bangladeshi's would be very reserved until I showed a knowledge about Sylhet their (homeland) Id say about a place they knew and their faces would light up. Then the Veggie fingers and chai would come out and Id tell them about my visit to Dhaka. I was the only one on the contract they would ask for.

One thing I could never get my head around was the amount of money rolling around the City yet lots of these people lived in near poverty. I hated the flash gready City lot.

But I did see the poverty that you think no one else does.

World of your own Notch... eyes closed stumbling around..... fingering around.

as yet there appears to be no official condemnation of the riots and looting, only the opposite as per the links i put up.

i feel you are right, the initial intention was good, however what it has now snowballed into is far from what the initial intention was.

BLM have not been transparent in their moneys and their accounts are very vague in advising where the money has been spent. When they are asked about where the new wave of donations are going to be spent only vague answers are provided like "we are working at planning how best to spend the money within black communities", for an organisation such as BLM, i would have thought they knew where the money required to be spent already.

when looking into the structure of BLM it is very much smoke and mirrors, it is very well marketed for the gullible and opportunistic corporate virtue signalling

i do hope they spend the money where it is needed and prove me wrong, but there is a lot of question marks they appear to be unable/unwilling to answer.
