Ours tries to be too clever but were getting wise to it now. My biggest gripe is trying to convince it to break the rules and burn through some gas (forsake efficiency), but I think we've found some good middle ground.

It has been in the house since before we have (fifteen years).
I say "it" but, apart from the case and the flue, it's probably more Trigger's broom, than it is original
Still, I keep consoling myself that, in fifteen years, its probably cost less than a bag of sand, whereas over that same period, some people have likely spent £7k or more solely on replacing them, and that's not considering servicing, call outs, and repairs .....
