Hi,

Where can I buy cost effective replacement filters for this please?

Toolstation’s prices as the same as a new mask!

Thanks in advance.

Thought things have normalised now. After the initial spike in demand...

Are those definitely designed to be replaceable? I don't recall seeing replaceable curved filters before.

Yes they are replaceable, I have the same mask and have replaced the filters previously.

arco.co.uk have them for 7.95 not sure if that includes vat the mask is gvs elipse I believe

As I posted a very long time ago, I have one of these masks and extend the filter life by trapping a couple of layers of toilet paper between it and the retaining grid..
I know I'm mean but I do use new sheets:ROFLMAO:

I appreciate that it depends on usage but how long do these filters tend to last?

Like everything else, it depend on how much and the type of dust.
Ive used mine for a couple of years ,some in conditions its hard to see through and not changed the filter. I have gone through a lot of bog roll though..sometimes have to change it every few minutes:)

I normally change mine after a particularly dusty job. I am currently refitting a bathroom that has involved sanding some plasterwork. This is the second time I have done this task with the current filters and once this project is completed I shall change the filters. You really need to consider the various factors involved and make the call.

For the sake of a tenner is it worth risking your health?
