Hi.
Unsure of correct forum. Windows and Doors ?

Just moved house. the garage door has an electric screw-type Henderson 880 Deluxe. It's an up and over door. The door didn't close all the way. This was due to a bump in some concrete that had been placed around an inspection cover outside the garage. I have ground away the concrete, but the electric opener will not close it all the way. It stops short.
The limit switches are, as far as I can tell, not actually mechanically connected. The fully-open limit switch appears to be connected - the flap at the back, but the one that attaches to the levers on the door is just flapping about.

I think I need to adjust the overall travel. It looks like it opens up more than it should, and doesn't close as much as it should. Something needs adjusting with the screw-drive itself, but none of my googling has brought up guidance on that. There's a flat in the end of the screw rod, and a nylon nut. If I turn the rod by hand after it's closed as much as it can, I can wind it further and the door gets to where I want it to go (now that the concrete it flat.), but then when I run the opener, it just opens and closes to the same point.

Anybody got a manual, or some guidance on how to adjust the screw-rod drive engagement? Seems like the rod needs to be out a bit more vs the drive position or something.

Ignore the above. It was simply a limit switch after all. The thing that I saw that isn't 'connected', seems to be a mechanical dis-engage for the screw-drive, to allow you to open the door by hand I think. On the other side there was a limit switch, and now my garage closes properly. Yay.
For anyone else looking in future, the Henderson 880 Deluxe seems to be the same as the Genie Pro 88.
