I have seen several threads where people mention grinding tiles to get them to sit better around a velux. I am having trouble getting marley moderns to sit nicely around a velux with edj flashing. The tile nibs around the velux were ground off but do you need to actually grind the tile down thinner to get it to sit properly?
The velux instructions were very good except all the pictures relate to a heavily profiled tile, there is no guidance for a flat tile.
The kick up around the velux I'm not too bothered about but some of the adjacent tiles are lifted exposing the interlocks, I'm worried rain can blow under them.
Thanks for your help.
Edit to add, the velux couldn't be shifted left or right to avoid cuts as it's a 550 between 600mm centres, it's going right through to the room below so moving the joist was out as the ceiling joist would also need moving.
