There is over £64m of unclaimed prizes dating back to 1957 listed on their website. Well worth a check of that £1 bond bought way back then to whet a baby's head. ;)

Fck that sh't get bitcoin mining or just buy into some. So volatile you could be a millionaire soon. It definitely is the future though, there's many rich people out there with their money squirrelled away into these markets away from banks and the fact they are forced transparency to IRS HMRC etc.

Well, fingers crossed for everyone tomorrow. I’m expecting nothing - that way I won’t be disappointed.

I'm doing very well on the National Lottery. I'm not down by a penny.

Not a sausage this month.

What I don’t understand is why, when the Govt. is needing huge loans, they are slashing NS&I saving bond rates to 0.01%?

I moved pretty much all my cash earlier in the year to them, at1.7% it was the best no risk easy access product. Now I’ve got to mess a boy again. Bit sad when 1% is good. When we get to negative rates, every one will be buying Premium Bonds.

i remember in the 70s inflation was rampant saving where around 8% and returns on a life assurance policy would be perhaps a 40-200% returns above expected gteed maturity rate after say 5 years
