Hi there,

I had to bleed one of our radiators last night due to it not getting warm for a while (and making a water rushing noise). After I did, when switching the heating back on the boiler pressure is at zero in the red, then the flow temperature on the screen goes from 25 degrees c to 99 degrees c in less than a minute so I switched it back off. Theres 2 ways i've seen to top up the pressure, one is from the black plastic manifold and key under the boiler which mine does not have, and the other is via a hose. I looked under my sink and this is not far from my boiler, could this be the hose which you need to use to allow cold water into the system to re-pressurise it? Or is this not related to it at all and some type of gas pipe which I should not be messing around with. Also, the heat going from 25 degrees c to 99 so quickley, is that supposed to happen when the pressure has been lost?

Everything was working fine until this yesterday. Any help would be appreciated. Nice one

Perfect. thanks a lot mate thats worked a treat!!

when switching the boiler back on and setting to the lowest setting i.e economy the Flow temperature instantly goes from 40 degrees C on the screen right up to 99 in less than 20 seconds. Is this behaviour normal or am i going to blow up the street?

(blue circles are the temperature rising as soon as it switched on and rapidly hits 99 degrees).

99c is quite high ,not high enough to blow up the street though !! You may have another issue. Have you turned the boiler / central heating back on ?

Sounds like your pump has stuck, or did you mess around with the valves below the boiler to try and top the pressure up ?

Just read your updated post ,there's no flow. As Ian asked above ,have you touched any valves below boiler ?

Not touched the valves but i left it off for a few hours. switched it back on and its returned back to normal. big thanks everyone. saved me having calling out an engineer!
