So, the humidity meter has finally arrived ( drumroll )
At the moment, it's showing 60% humidity 19.2 C
That's about perfect. Keep checking every few hours to see if it changes, for example when the heating has been on for a bit.
You might need to look elsewhere for the cause.

Maybe try googling all the plants you have, some can be detrimental to your health.

I have this gut feeling that it's something to do with the house or the building material that was used.
