Hi can anyone help o have a wall light fed from a socket via a fused spur. I want to put a wall light o the other side of the wall can I run a cable horizontal from the existing light to the new light.is this a permitted zone.

Horizontal or vertical of any electrical item on the same wall is within the zone yes
 
Thanks Russ so I can bury the cable in the wall without any protection

Personally I'd put it in oval conduct to protect the cable while you're plastering over it.
