Mongolism is an old word which was used to describe Downs sufferers, it wasn't until Dr Down studied it that the name was changed. He lived in Teddington, Normansfield, a big old house. Charles Hanson (bargain hunt fame) runs some of his auctions from there.

But you get so upset when someone pulls you up on your spelling and you wish everyone to be more considerate - or PC about that? Wow, as I said, you're being a hypocrite.

Problem is he has now turned into a whining buffoon.
I can pretty much guaruntee that when he was signed by McLaren in 1998, at the age of 13 very few people said he wouldn't make it.
I can imagine it from other racers playing mind games or from parents whom are jealous, I think that is more to do with his lucrative contract which they all felt was better off with them.
Teachers might have said it at school when he was being a little bug ger (he was a child they all act up, and I'm certain most are told by there teachers they wouldn't amount to much).
I know he has experienced racism, (Spanish Alonso fans making monkey noises) but the British public have always had his back, until recently and a majority have turned away from Hamilton because of his persistent attempts to demonise the white people that support him.
The UK by large is not a racist country, racism does exist, but it exists everywhere, that doesn't mean it doesn't exist, and I think if you compare where we are now to 30-40 years ago, you'd say massive progress has been made. Yeah there is still plenty of ignorant people out their, but generally they are few and far between.
Lewis is jumping on a bandwagon, his intentions I believe are good, however they are poorly executed. His support for BLM and especially the American branch is somewhat misguided. Other than rioting and looting they haven't done a whole lot to make the black American lives any better. All the millions of dollars of donations haven't seen the light of day in the communities that need it, and the money trail is somewhat sketchy.
The problem in the uk is now that so much progress has been made people now feel the need to invent things to be offended by.
Take coloured person and person of colour, they both mean the same thing but one is deemed as offensive. Even BAME is starting to be deemed as offensive as it is not individual/specific enough.
LGBTQ+ FFS, does anyone care if your non binary, and self identification and all that jazz, even the LGBT community laugh at them trying to make up this new fandango species. There just really isn't a need for it, do what you do and get on with it, people might laugh at you for identifying as a lamp post but if it's what makes you happy then so be it, ignore this that laugh, but for God sake don't preach about it. Sometimes you can't help but think it's just people trying to attention seek (look at Sam Smith as an example, balling his eyes out on social media as he found it so hard living in his mansion with a swimming pool and God knows how much acres of land, plenty of food and no money worries, his biggest problem in life is when he wakes up and he's choosing whether he is going to identify as a gay man, woman, or non binary person that day. No thought what so ever about the millions of people who had lost their job or won't know if they still had a job to go back to)

Yes, it's a word that had been around a long time.
As I said, I remember it being used at school - unfavourable as children tend to be. Luckily most of us grow up and stop using childish terms. Most.

engineering is interesting , also been on the Ferrari F1 support lorry / juggernaut , very impressive tbh , the storage set up of every part on the car , all at there finger tips
takes about 6 people to start a formula 1 car , not just turn a key
tolerances are so tight the oil and water has to be pre heated
Good Grief what's the world coming too, I suppose I'll have to stop calling people a Joey next!
