In that case, can’t I use my mouse to click “ok” on this promp? Appreciate that I will need another pair of eyes to guide the mouse...

video call maybe to make it easier, or run up and down stairs.....
easier to take a small monitor up?

Just an update - I thought I had posted thus already though. I finally got mine to work. DVR in loft, TV in lounge, both connected via a 15m HDMI cable between the DVR and plugged into the HDMI3 port. Trouble I had was that the cordless mouse in the lounge wouldn’t work in the lounge. I eventually cured it by buying a 3m USB extension lead, plugging that into the DVR, plugged the mouse receiver into the other end and dangled it down a void to be a bit closer to the mouse. Works perfect now and I have full control of the CCTV from my lounge with the TV as the monitor.

UPDATE: Thanks for all the suggestions. I can see where the confusion was and let me share as it may help someone else!
There are 2 USB ports on the NVR to connect your mouse (may be other devices too?). My mouse has always been connected to the USB port at the back of the NVR. This works fine when there is a Monitor (up in the loft) connected via VGA. This mouse has no effect on the TV downstairs which is connected via HDMI. A wireless mouse would not have made a difference.

There is a USB port on the front of the NVR too. When I plug my wired mouse in here, it affects the cursor on my TV screen. I then face timed my son who was pointing the phone to the TV screen and I directed the mouse from my loft. Clearly the wireless mouse connected in this port would have been more helpful.
