Hi all, I have a few lengths of 6mm steel round bar which I use outside to make vegetable tunnels. I have some shorter sections that aren't long enough to create a full arch and I want to connect two bits together.. Can anyone think of a really quick and easy fitting that would allow for the connection? I'm not a welder and would not look to go down this route. I'm sure there is a product out there someone that is designed for exactly this but I can't find it.. another option would be to use shrink wrap, but I would like the two bits to be easy to disconnect if I need to.

Thanks guys. I'll try the cable ties first and see how it holds. Keeping in mind the join will be in the middle (top of the arch) so it needs to be strong enough to hold up against the winter and spring winds.

Tap & die with studding connector would be a really tidy job ..

Plastic least preferred option because it's out in the garden..
