Any suggestions on how to return this underground pipe to its correct shape so I can replace this split coupling that has been leaking? Hot water? Just leave it and use plumbers putty? Some kind of insert? 110mm soil pipe

Thanks

Drain Techs have 'Rerounding gear', to deal with misshapen pipework before lining it, not sure if you'll be able to do much otherwise. Only suggestion I can offer if to try and gently warm it up, and pack it out to accept a new coupler, or alternatively, see if you can get a McAlpine DC-1 or similar inside it to make a new joint and re shape the pipe. Need to investigate whats crushed it in the first place.

Thanks for the suggestions, not sure what caused it but the stack has been poorly supported and has dropped by at least an inch judging by the movement of the clips revealing unpainted sections. I discovered the issue after noticing material had washed away around the base which had been hidden behind a piece of garden furniture. I had assumed it was surface water and intended to add a gully, however I then noticed the coupler was split. There is a power cable that has been run behind the pipe but nothing obvious that would have caused that level of distortion which is focused around the split . This is at the bottom of a slope so the concrete to the right could have moved downhill and caused it, or pressure from the soil pipe?

If its external, I'd seriously look at digging the whole section out and redoing it, support it with some dry concrete whilst you're at it, otherwise I worry you may be back here again before too long. Drains dont just 'drop' unless there some ground movement.

If by whole section you mean back to the manhole that's not really feasible given its around 4m away, over 6ft deep.....

and in the conservatory.

Dig down and cut the pipe below the distorted pipe and renew it from there, get yourself 2 new 110mm collars and a cutting of 110mm pipe.

OP,
The water from the split fitting could have caused wobbly movement around the split fitting & pipe - and caused the drop. Poorly fixed pipe clips can also be a cause of pipes slipping and dropping.
As you've already done you might nibble more concrete away from around the pipe to give yourself working space.
Then you can cut the pipe, probably just below the fitting, and make your new connection from there.

No, I was referring to the damaged section. As with Jim's advice, cut back to a decent section of pipe, rejoin and come back from there, I think you'll struggle to do anything with the damaged section, it's too far gone now to pull back. Then pack it in some concrete if need be to prevent a recurrence.
