Scrapping lockdown for a few day's to appease the masses is daft. I was waiting for them to say they are relaxing drink driving laws over Christmas as well, I mean, it's only peoples lives at stake. what does it matter to them ?

I don't understand.

Surely you can have Christmas dinner with the family as long as you wash your hands, wear a mask when you stand up and leave before 10pm no harm will come to anyone.

I knew you’d moved! Luckily for me, I’m still in a country where when our leader talks about Europe and the U.K. and he says he's going to leave one of them, he really does!

Because it's Happy Holidays, christmas has been taken away from us by the PC brigade and muslims.

It's the only thing we can look forward to - an argument with the family we can just about barely tolerate for a few hours a year.

You could of course make up a 'family building firm' and then attend an 'emergency incident' about the same time as the meal is served...

Or just follow mottie's advice and simply break the rules...
