I'm renovating my kitchen, and as part of this I need to deal with condensation build up as a result of solid walls and plaster being used.
Anyhow to the job I need doing:
I have a baxi boiler and want it removed from the wall (incl pipes) temporarily for. Week or so, to enable me to take the wall back to bare brick, put tanking slurry on, then install insulated board and skim.
I then need the boiler reinstalled in the same location. See pic of boiler below
I'm pretty confident at DIY - is it just a case of drain down all CH and hot water, turn boiler off, cut pipes coming out of bottom of boiler and take off wall?
if I was to get a plumber in how much can I expect to pay to remove and reinstate?
