My Mum left a Covid ward a week ago. She apparently caught it when in hospital for an op. At 84, diabetic and weak after an op I was amazed that the positive test was the only way we knew she had it. She has not had any symptoms of this 'deadly' disease. I realise that she may just have been lucky (obviously we share the same quality genes 
), but I even doubted that she really had it. Some mistake or other.
Obviously I was not allowed to see her in there, but used to go into the entrance of this Covid/isolation ward to the nurses' station to drop things off for her. I was amazed how quiet and calm the ward seemed, no sense of overworked, overstressed staff. I expected the corridors to be lined with people on oxygen. In the middle of a pandemic that needed a nationwide lockdown, not just the ward but the whole hospital seemed eerily quiet. Same with the testing station outside, dead. Where's the big emergency?
The numbers are being manipulated. They say '500 died within 28 days of a positive Covid test' or '500 died with Covid'. None of these statements means they died from Covid. We're being lied to! Would you expect anything less from Johnson and his mob?

Yes, we all wondered that. Only been in the place 3 days and then tested positive. If she did have it, it doesn't say much for their infection control. She was in her own room, not on a ward so should have been ok. Either hyping the figures or a testing mistake because of the huge numbers being tested.
For the 3 days before testing positive, I had sat in her room for 2 hours each day next to her bed while she wore no mask, let her use my mobile, touched her hand, handled her water glass, etc, etc. If it's so infectious how come my brother and I don't have Corona?
People need to look at this whole situation and not believe everything we're being told.
