Boiler combustion readings high

Is it just me and everyone else can see the doc?
No, think the OP has removed it from the thread, presumably because they aren't getting the answer they were looking for. I expect they'll delete all their own comments soon too, you know how it goes...

Wrong. I have the answers. I have no need to display details of my wife's name and signature.

Not referring to this OP, but got to love some posters, mostly the Hive and nest self installers that want told to press a magic button and everything will re-wire itself, get so rude when you tell them they have got it completely wrong

It's great when people are in the know and help others but there's always some who do it with a smirk.

I like helping people and it can be done without sarcasm and patronising

Update

I'm now trying to get Domestic and General to process a contribution towards a new boiler.
I've had a plan with them for years and it includes a contribution if the boiler is no good. But you know these big companies!

I used to do D&G work many years ago and at that time the boiler was insured for £750, if you had someone out the deducted the cost of that callout and sent you the remainder , if the boiler couldnt be repaired , cant really say what the figures are now though, the Myson Apollo admittedly wasnt a great boiler but if the flue is intact, no reason why you cant get the combustion figures down, as already said there is no actual requirement to use a flue gas analyser on your boiler, doesnt do any harm , but there are better tests to do

Interesting. I really have no idea why they said it was safe to use after giving us the paperwork. Yes, my wife signed it but people are people and do things without querying. They had some sort of tester they put in the flue outside. I would have tested it before doing any work?

Tbh, I thought Domestic and general would send out one of their people to test it.
Hope this isn't going to be long and drawn out.

D&G are simply an insurance company, they do employ a few technical bods but they are only there to give approval to the sub contractors they use, when I was there, if job was going to be over £150 you had to call up and get an approval code, never had one refused, they dont actually employ any gas engineers
