Hi all,
My HDD crashed and so, with help from folk on this site, I replaced it and used an ISO file to reload Windows 10.
I've got everything back to normal now except that the damn thing won't connect to any blutooth devices.
Everything seems normal and I've downloaded the latest blutooth updates but the computer wont recognise any blutooth devices. I have tried three which I had connected to with no problems pre HDD crash.
Anyone got any ideas?
Chris.

I'm sure someone will come along with some specific trouble shooting advice for you. But if it was me I would just pick up a super cheap (less than £10) Bluetooth USB dongle from Amazon, plug that in and connect using that.

Have you looked at the bluetooth entry in device manager? Go to device manager, search and type in device manager or find it in control panel. Double click the bluetooth entry and if there are any red crosses or yellow triangles delete them and let Windows find a new driver. You may have to reboot.

Open Device Manager. Expand Bluetooth Devices. Click on the actual device (not any bluetooth peripherals), select Details and then right click and select Properties. At the top click the down arrow and select Hardware IDs. You should see something commencing "BTH\" (without the quotes). Type the whole code shown into Google and it should direct you to where you can download the correct driver for your particular BT card. Install this driver and BT should then work again. (In Windows B. 10 you will need Admin privileges to do this)

I had bluetooth pack up on a laptop recently. The little module board had packed up - no device showing up. Bought one on ebay and it was an easy swap.
