Got to raise this curtain rail. Just a case of measuring down from ceiling and using level then using sds drill to go

into lintel?

Just measure down and put level mark across, use masonry bit or if metal lintel use metal bit, there may well be local handyman nearby if you don't feel confident enough good luck.

Got the two things which go over screws in right place at top but this heavy mirror blows in wind so want to attach the side ones. Shall I bolt on two picture fixers then screw that to wall?

Attached 2 picture fixers on left side so hopefully won't flap about now.

???

You went from asking advice about moving a curtain pole up to telling us how you've secured a mirror to a wall?

Hopefully you don't buy shorter curtains in the future or you'll be moving the pole down again ;)

The mirror went ok, but one on left not totally level with right one and not totally level either. I put top right plug/hole in then swung it level and drilled top left one. Then bottom two. Maybe the holes move a bit and take it out of levelView attachment 215275

Why not just get someone in to do the work, you'll end up making a mess of your tiles.

Are you winding us up pre xmas? ;)

You start off telling us about a curtain pole, then move on to telling us about a mirror (without saying how the pole went), now you've moved on to telling us about bathroom cabinets? On those, I'd have done one first ensuring it was level, then I'd have held the second one up ensuring level with first, marking my holes accordingly. And remember, if you need to make small adjustments, instead of drilling new holes in the tiles, you can create slightly longer holes in the back panel to give you some vertical movement. Then, because you've made the back panel hole larger, just use slightly larger headed screw or small metal washers to ensure cabinet is secured properly.

Thanks for slot idea on cabinet
I guess that can be done afterwards just drill small hole above or below current one if it's not level with one next to it or plumb. Forgot about the washers. Will use next time.

Regarding the curtains , there up. The left fixing wasnt as strong as the other two (which were very strong) but hopefully holds.
