Seeking partners in money making venture!

90% of UK lamb exports go to EU.
Lamb farmers are currently very worried.....but Im sure they will "prosper mightily"
They might, and they might not, depends on whether UK consumers are prepared to pay the higher price.
If the cheap cuts are too expensive for EU tastes, they'll be wasted, or used for pet food. Thus the cost of the decent cuts will have to increase to compensate the farmers for the actual cost of rearing the lamb. Otherwise, it'll not be worth their bother, then they won't be sheep farmers any longer. That could affect the import of lamb from other places.

So many unforeseen and unintended consequences and repercussions.......

All the fish caught by brit fishlng boats will. Be needed in this country to ward off starvation caused by brexit ;)

There will. Probably be rationing as well

Ration books have already been printed ;)

May well be distributed in the new year

Salvation army are also purchasing extra sauce pans to cater for an increase in soup kitchens

Stock up on tinned grub in the new year ;)

Survival is the order of the day ;)

Have you ever tasted european lamb?
It's more like mutton/old sheep.
I can easily say that british lamb is the best in Europe, hands down.

And Europe has plenty of Muslims as the UK does, who value their Lamb and will still want quality.

Gurnard is a tasty fish, if you can catch one large enough to get the meat off it . Iv'e got a fishing boat and we eat almost everything we catch, came in with a load of mackerel one day and a pretty young lady on holiday with her children asked to look at the catch, out of total generosity I offered her some she refused saying she only likes fish from the frozen isle in the supermarkets, for me mackerel is the tastiest fish out but thousands of tons are caught by the massive trawlers and used for fertiliser, what a criminal waste.

You've obviously never eaten Icelandic or Norwegian lamb...

If you'd tasted either Kjötsúpa or Fårikål I believe you'd change your mind!

It is a shame that the old way of buying what is caught and grown locally is what we eat, has gone

I would like to see more fishing and farming -its terrible that this govt isnt supporting these industries more into the future

one real benefit of brexit could be investing in the UK being more self sufficient.

We've come far from the source of our food
