What to use to fix 60kg+ column rad to wall

Hi - I have a 3 column, 1800 x 470 vertical rad to fit to the wall.

It’s 50kg empty so I’m thinking about 60-65kg full. There are loads of videos / advice about fixing to a plasterboard wall but I’m actually fixing it to a brick wall and just want to check what fixings are best.

it’s been supplied with x8 of these (photo below of screws but these aren’t the actual brackets - just an amazon photo!) which are 70mm x M6 but not sure they’re the right thing as the screw heads are not flat like coach screws so won’t grip as well.

Are they ok for the weight or should I be using coach screws or something like M8 anchors? Or adding feet as well?

Feet are certainly a good idea but if your wall is solid and not crumbly then the fixings supplied should be fine

A radiator the weighs 100 lbs? Really?

A quick search on google throws up larger rads than yours weighing 75lbs.

I would think the anchors are more important than the actual screws especially into solid brick.

I’ve guessed about another 10kg for water but that bit is a guess.

I think I’ll get a couple of feet to be safe and use what’s supplied. If it feels at all dodgy then I’ll swap a couple of the screws for Sleeve anchors.

just dont over drill the holes for the fixers and they will be fine, I call them spit hits , but that was a trade name years ago, you just push the plastic bit in then hit with a hammer, great fixings for brick walls

the trouble with csk screws is they pull in to the centre of the hole so if you drill the hole or it wanders slightly out there’s no adjustment.
i’ve fitted dozens and they always come with hex head screw/bolts.

Water will add 10lbs per gallon, so your guess is probably not far off.
