four toothbrush chargers one plug?

Hi All
I have four toothbrush chargers (240v 0.9w each) taking up a double socket (3xblock and a single). I just saw that the 3xblock developed a crack in the housing so instead of replacing I'm looking for a way to get these four chargers working off a single plug.

One option might be to use terminal blocks to join these somehow, or to solder and heat shrink. Because the wattage is so low I'm thinking that done the right way, this will be safe.

Any suggestions / advice much appreciated.

Just have a double socket and alternately charge two one day, two the next. They don’t all have to be charged at the same time do they?

not all shaver sockets will charge toothbrushes as they are designed for short term surges
if its struggling with a single item it will fail with multiple sooner or later

Get a proper socket for those plugs. This is the first hit on google, I'd suggest looking further for a type C europlug fitting rather than this Shuko style.

Wikipedia: The United Kingdom, Ireland, and Malta, use the BS 4573 two-pin plug and socket for electric shavers and toothbrushes. The plug has insulated sleeves on the pins. Although similar to the Europlug Type C, the diameter and spacing of the pins are slightly different and hence it will not fit into a Schuko socket. There are, however, two-pin sockets and adaptors which will accept both BS 4573 and Europlugs.

where is the double socket located ? In a bathroom? Are you using a shaver socket designed for toothbrushes - should have the symbol on the face

Indeed but IME there are more more devices on sale with Europlug than 5A plugs, in fact in my very limited experience of electric toothbrushes I have not come across one with a 5A plug.

I think it's quite clear from the photos that OP is using 3pin mains adaptors and not a shaver socket. Best advice is use two chargers and rotate the toothbrushes around. We have two if these and only 1 charger. They only need charging every 5 days or so.

Cut the 2 pin plugs off, and fit a more appropriate type. No adaptors required.

if NOT in a bathroom at all , why not use a 4 plug extension lead , if you need all 4 on at once ?

Maybe so, maybe not, but irreverent as (s)he is not using a shaver socket.

Thanks all - great info and advice.
Good reality check - I'll just charge two at a time and rotate. Why didn't I think of that....!
Also liked the idea of just fitting a 3-pin plug and ditching the adapters.

you would have to be very neat and tidy with the cabling inside but you could wire all four to one 3 pin plug
