You are getting the rads and valves and want a day rate ........I get enquiries like that from gas safe ......frankly I don't bother with them.
If I provide everything any problems such as damage to the rads when unpacked ...it happens..... a quick phone call it's exchanged for me, I can get them at trade rates too so I make a little from the time and effort I put in to sourcing them.
If the customer gets them it's a hassle waiting for them to take them back etc etc a waste of time for me.
You want to save money that's fair enough but I wouldn't waste my time even quoting fir your job if you phoned me.
By a cheap job I suppose I'm thinking you want to shave off the icing on the job for the tradesman .......good luck with that.
I suspect you may get respondees needing the work ! and hence a cheap job !
Really why would a good busy tradesman bother with your job when he can do a job where customers are not asking for a day rate !
I always give a fixed price any problems mine to sort out. Day rate ......." we have all the time in the world stretch it out the customers paying ! " you've been warned !
You said day rate did you not ? You may have clarified that ........only time I chase in to walls for heating circs is bathrooms !
