I want to change my light switchbin my front room to a smart switch.

My current witch has 3 brown cables 1 going to 1 way and 2 going to common.

The new switch has neutral live and out sockets how do I wire it up?

Any help would be perfect

The neutrals are likely to be the blue insulated wires in the terminal block that's loose within the enclosure. That will need to be confirmed.
The two browns in COM ,old switch ,go together into the terminal " L in"
The other brown in L out.
After ascertaining the blues are neutrals ,they go in the " N in" terminal.

The house is brand new. I am sure the blue would be the neutral‍♂️♂️. Is it worth me just putting it in and trying it?

Would I need to put both of them in the switch or just 1 of them?

There are 3 blue wires. I would need to put all 3 into the switch?

The two browns in com to Lin. The single brown In 1way to Lout. The three blues in the terminal block to N.

Thank you both of you for all your help. I cant thank you enough.

Yes of course . They are all currently together in one terminal block aren't they? If they will not fit ,you could add a piece of same size blue cable from that terminal block to the switch .

In any wiring, but ESPECIALLY in lighting fittings, you must not assume that the colour of a wire tells you what it does.

You must always test.

A photo of the connections in the old switch is a useful start, but unless you mark each of them you will not know afterwards which similarly coloured wire does what.
