pictures may help understand what your looking at on both units so you can be advised accordingly.

as with most panels enetr engineering before opening up panel, if you dont have it try the default one, if that doesnt wiork you should be able to silence the tamper with a user code.

Thanks so much for your quick response and help, however,I’ve taken pictures of both keypads, but haven’t worked out how to put them on here‍ ‍♂️ Right, i think I’ve put the
Photo of the old and new control

You will need to look at the SD2 and the SD1+ manuals there are difference in the board when looking the units up and a jumper to change the polarity of the triggers.

so there maybe slight difference, not familiar with the product.

Now I’m a tad confused, yes, it makes sense that SD means speed dialer ‍♂️
But it’s phsically the same size and shape, the button layout is identical, so, I thought it woul be ok, the buttons match, the LCD looks identical, I wonder if I could swop the buttons and screen to my old one to get me going again- how complicated would it be, I’m wondering? Thanks again for your comments
