Today I had a roof man to do a roof on my garage wich is 6000 x 5000.
He did a roof type Vaulted roof with a ridge beam , so no strut
Is this ok, the roof angle is 20 degree.

Thank you

Looks ok to me , I think trussed would have been cheaper.[Not my understanding of a vaulted roof.]

It looks over-designed if anything. It is a pitched roof, not a vaulted roof (which does not have a ceiling)

That's how I would do it, but that's so I could I could use the steel for an engine hoist and/or lifting body tubs off chassis, and you've got somewhere to store light body panels, scooter engine cases, gear boxes, forks etc.in the loft area and you can insulate and board the ceiling, never been keen on building engines in an uninsulated garage when its minus 5, why do people always bugger up their motors when its cold?. There again I'd have a steeper pitch for more storage.

I don't see much point to the ceiling joists other than to act as a storage platform, assuming the wall plates are well secured. If it was my garage I'd knock a couple out and fit some kind of pull-down staircase for easy access to the storage.
