Has anybody else experienced the skip ad option on YouTube disappearing?
You have to sit through the whole ad now before watching your chosen video.

I think that depends on the YouTube channel.

My guess is there is an option to have non skip adverts, maybe it gets higher revenue.
 
Some of the videos you have to sit through two ads. You can be watching three minutes of adverts for a video that only lasts a minute or two, it's ridiculous.
Thank god for the alternatives...Rumble, ******** and GabTV.

Revenues are down and views are up, so advertising is increasing. They made a mistake, when they introduced a subscriber/view hours gate on payment. It meant the specialist information films (e.g how to solder a pipe) were pushed out for more - here’s me wearing some Adidas vlogs.
 
Brave browser takes out adverts on YouTube.. Well it did when I used last... Will also pay youtube in the background with screen off
