Stagnant water in sewer pipe, water draining slowly due to silt deposits? (pics included)

I used a pressure washer and removed all the black sealant on the pipe just outside the trap. Then I pushed it up the drain as far as I could, lots of fat deposits and stuff clinging to the pipes came off. I am going to buy a sewer hose attachment for the pressure washer and run it all the way along. I suspect the blockage is because not enough water is flowing into the trap to clear it, plus gradual silt deposits resting at the bottom of the trap.

I am thinking of shoving my 2kw pressure washer nozzle into the blocked trap and hoping for the best.

Sounds like you may have already done it, but was going to say, unlikely you'll do any harm, (other than to yourself, so wear Face and Hand Protection, as if nothing else, there's a shed load of bacteria down there, and speaking from bitter experience, you dont want to be getting too up close and personal with them...)
