Pfizer vaccine approved.

Britain's medicines regulator, the MHRA, says the jab, which offers up to 95% protection against Covid-19 illness, is safe to be rolled out.

The first 800,000 doses will be available in the UK from next week, Health Secretary Matt Hancock said.

People should wait to be contacted by the NHS, he added.

Elderly people in care homes and care home staff have been placed top of the priority list, followed by over-80s and health and care staff.

But hey, I'm happy for the lunatics to line up like lemmings. And then I'll make a judgement as to which to take (or none at all) when there has been a real and proper independent evaluation of the effectiveness and possible side effects of all of the jabs

My sibling got the Pfizer vaccine, Part 1.
He immediately had COVID like symptoms when he first got infected and this last 3 days. So, be prepared.

It's a certainty, that quite a few people when vaccinated, will already have the virus.

You can't vaccinate 6,000,000 million people without this happening.

Plus the purpose of a vaccine is to stimulate your immune system. Which means you've got a good chance of feeling like your body is fighting off an infection, and Covid-19 symptoms can be quite generic.

So Android's sibling could have just had an expected reaction. It looks like there could be some autocorrect errors in there?

I've been told to expect the symptom I would expect to get when my immune system is active. Not all that long now to find out.

My son works for the nhs and had his first dose a couple of days ago. He had a sore arm for a couple of days and stomach cramps last night but otherwise ok. His partner who also works for the nhs had covid 3 weeks ago and is still having trouble breathing or doing any sort of activity, housework etc.

My mate gets his first dose tomorrow and the follow up is booked for april.

Friend of the family,58,isolated 10days,felt unwell 10th day,COVID positive,ventilated,induced coma last Thursday.no underlying problems.Died yesterday.

I had the flu jab on Monday. Could not keep my eyes open last night beyond 8:30pm. Nothing else much to report other than mild soreness (feels like a bruise) to my upper arm and some very mild symptoms.

Ya big jessie.
Nonsense. I had my comfort blanket and a cube of sugar ready. Piece of cake.

Seriously, I'm not in the least bit bovvered about needles, whether it's giving blood or receiving a jab. My old dentist (now deceased) was extraordinarily skilled at administering procaine even in real sensitive spots.

I had a flu jab about 7 years ago and was off work for 3 days, felt like crap. Never went back for another one until this winter, the advice was so strong I gave it another go and it was great, no symptoms at all, not even an ache in the arm.(y)
