I am installing some striplight for under my kitchen wall units, that I want to interchange from cool white to warm white via remote.

My electrician said its best to hardwire them.

I'm struggling to find some online that are hardwired. They seem to have a plug with most.

Can anyone point me in the right direction?

Thanks

Not a spark but asked similar before and didn’t get a reply either, you need to buy the LED strip and then buy a driver that is relevant to that strip either 12v or 24v.

I spoke to a guy from Yesss electrical and they were very helpful. Also loads of vids on YouTube.

Really the electrician should have explained it to you.

If its a standard plug you just cut it off then once the wires connected its Hardwired, just do not cut it off if it is a TRANSFORMER type plug unit.
What did he mean by hardwired, as opposed to what.
Most of this stuff is plug in but you just fit a Hardwired socket out of sight to plug them into.

Have you found stuff that does what you want, maybe we can advise better if you post a link.
The reason some posts do not get a reply is they do not give enough info to provide a possible solution
