My Vokera HE 25 intermittently gets the Red Light of Death. Normally you just turn it off , wait 30 seconds turn back on & away it goes . Sometimes it runs for days , others it Red lights within minutes or hours.
Had a service plan but didn’t renew it as they seemed to have no clue what they were doing . In the last 2 years , The boiler has had 3 Air pressure switches , the PCB boards changed , a new plate exchanger, a fan, overheat sensor .. it’s been fine for 8 months but has suddenly started playing up again.
Looking at the threads , a clogged up Venturi has been mentioned as a cause of Red Light issues.
Looking at some pics of my boiler , I can’t see the Venturi ? All there is , is the van with 2 pipes coming out straight into the Air Pressure Switch .
Just wondering if this is the issue , I remember a chap coming who spent ages and had some tubes chucked on the side after he packed his kit up .
On my manual it clearly shows the Venturi!
Would just the tubes out of fan into the air pressure switch be ok ??
Thanks in advance for any advice.

Cheers , on the actual boiler , there is no Venturi, they are missing. All there is is just the 2 tubes out the fan into the APS

so what do the tubes connect to then ?, it wouldnt run without the venturis

There are 2 little metal pipes coming out of the fan , the tubes are pushed onto those and then just onto the APS .
I’m guessing the 2 little metal pipes out of the fan are the parts of the Venturi that are inside the fan housing ? Then the other half’s fit onto those then the tubes go to the APS , according to the diagram in the manual . Il get a pic of the inside of the boiler when I’m home , as it’s on my pc .

You're really not supposed to open the combustion box if you're not competent and further, to cure the problem you have to start stripping the combustion components. Obviously the guys who you've had before were dancing around the problem and with a HE another area requires checking. A fixed price repair and service from Vokera might be the answer, at least you should get someone who understands the boiler and a years warranty on the repair. What area are you?

I haven’t opened the combustion chamber. I have pics of it before they closed it up.
How it looks in the manual and how mine looks are different? . Mine is like this !

That is how it looks those ARE the venturis, all the parts that matter are inside the fan, as said you cant do this yourself, and by the looks of your pic you need a new combustion cover seal also

Lol , I’m at work & the pic on my phone is the wrong one. There is a pic in the manual that shows the tubes coming out the fan, with angled bits on and bigger tubes/caps on the end with the smaller tubes going off to the APS . The spares kit is as pic .
so on my boiler it looks like something is missing .
il call Vokera for a fixed price repair

There is nothing missing, that is a pic of the replacement kit which is completely different from the origionals, yes a FPR is definately your best bet
