Before on the left - after on the right, cable exposed as used original containment

Bathroom or kitchen - not sure

Correct? Pass? Lazy?

Not a sparks so asking the Oracles among you.

Could do with a closer picture to see exactly what's going on there, but the initial impression is it's just lazy/rough workmanship. There's nothing that visibly fails to comply with the regs but a closer look might reveal something.

If, as looks to be the case, the outer sheaths of those cable are intact, then there is no problem - it would be fine without the trunking at all (i.e. just with the cables clipped, visibly, to the wall surface).

Eh? You surely must know whether you were in a bathroom or kitchen when you took the photos?
