Hot water trickle in bathroom

Hi,

looking for guidance.

the hot water in my bathroom, sink and bath, is running very slowly. The kitchen tap is working as normal.

any ideas as to what the problem might be and what I can try to fix it?

Higher up than that (in your loft), you will have a larger cold water tank. Lift the lid and check there is water in it and if you press the arm with the ball on the end down, more water flows in.

Again - Has your poor flow always been like that, or has it just begun?
 
Do you have flexible hoses that connect the tap tail to the pipework?

Apologies, on the nightshift. Will get a look in the morning and get back to you.

Poor flow only started in the last week. I take it there would be something more catastrophic if it was related to frozen pipes? -18 the other morning!!

So eventually made it into the loft. Here is my water tank. It did have polystyrene covers on it.

It appears full and refills when I push the ball down.
The there is a pipe going up to the ceiling and a pipe coming out the bottom that looks like it feeds the kitchen, bathroom hot water tank I think.
Any ideas as to what I can try to solve my bathroom trickle?

pipes to tapes are not flexible

Apologies, just bumping this to see if anyone can help. No change, very little flow in bathroom sink and bath but seems fine in kitchen?
 
1. Check there are no isolation valves partially closed.
2. Inspect the pipework to make sure none has been partially crushed.
3. You have an airlock in the pipe to the bathroom.
4. Final suggestion is that something has been washed down into the bathroom pipe, partially blocking it.

3 and or 4, can be fixed, by.....

Connecting a cold tap to the hot tap, with a bit of hose and turning both taps on. Idea is to force the obstruction or the air back up the pipe and out. Before doing that, ensure the tank in the loft has a properly working over flow system.
