Hi all, moved into a new house lately, built in 1998 which has a gravity fed traditional tank in the airing cupboard etc. The main bathroom has no shower, but the ensuite does.
The pressure from the shower is really bad...

I've seena couple of vids about improving it etc, one of which includes adjusting the valves behind mixer spigot. No idea if this will work though.

What are my options? I'll do the 1 litre test later on.

is the airing cupboard on same floor as the en-suite ?
do you know if there is a pump on the shower pipework ?
The shower has the taps on the wall separate to the bath taps or just a shower unit on its own? - any photos.

The hot water tank, do you have a label with the volume of water , again perhaps a photo.

yes, airing cupboard on same floor. No, there doesnt appear to be a pump on the shower pipework.. i cant hear any evidence of one. There is only a shower in the room, no bath.

I cant see any markings on the tank, no.

Here's the shower control setup.

If that shower is upstairs and the loft immediately above it ,you will never have great pressure ,you would be lucky to get O.2 / O.3 bar from gravity fed hot water cylinder.
Fit a pump .

Does the pump supply the shower only or all of the upstairs? And does it fit in the airing cupboard with the tank or behind the shower unit?

Also, there's good pressure on the other upstairs bath and sink taps for both hot and cold.. much better than the shower.. so i'm thinking maybe trying a new cartridge on the mixer valve? Worth a try? I'm having trouble identifying it though...
