Smart radiator valves compatibility

I'm currently using a Honeywell Evohome system with an ageing Vaillant boiler.

Thinking of having a new boiler installed soon, probably another Vaillant or a Worcester Bosch, but these seem to have their own smart controller systems and I'm not sure the Evohome would be compatible. However although I would expect to buy a new controller, I'm wondering if the wireless radiator valves are compatible I.e would the Vaillant or Worcester controllers communicate with the Honeywell rad valves?

As I have 11 rads, it would be quite expensive to replace all the valves, so I'm hoping they would be compatible.

You'll be fine, don't buy a boiler with its own controls, just use your existing setup with the new boiler.
Why are you changing the boiler? I've got a 17year old vaillant, an ecomax 618/2e and it's still going strong, later ones aren't as well built or as reliable. Age isn't a reason to replace.

Thanks. Had a few faults over last couple of years. Its 18 years old now. Tends to be quite noisy and as its adjacent to a bedroom, can be a nuisance when it's left on at night during cold weather. I would hope a new boiler would be quieter and more efficient.

Lots of money for a new boiler when all that maybe wrong with your existing one might be a noisy pump. Have you had it looked at?

A new boiler might be a bit quieter but is unlikely to be significantly more efficient. It certainly won't pay for itself in gas savings, or even scratch the surface
