Hi

I’ve read guidance about zones in bathroom. just want to check before proceeding.

Am I allowed to use a standard light (ceiling rose, cable, bayonet fitting) in my bathroom if the bulb is at a height of 2.5m? Ceiling rose at 3m. The light would be positioned above one end of the bath. I will also have a shower head at 2.2m (from floor) above the bath. The distance from a shower head to bulb would be 1m (and bulb higher).

I can't help thinking a skirted battenholder would be a better choice than a ceiling rose pendant, but that's my personal choice.

Which would make the lamp 1/2metre higher than preferred.
