Mould and cold

Hello there
Just moved into a new rental house.

when we viewed the house there was some mould on the corner on the ceiling, during the process we were told the landlord fixed the problem of the guttering.
Some mould has appeared in the upstairs toilet and bathroom on the egde of the walls where the ceiling meets the wall and the plaster is slanted lets say.
I have cleaned this with vinegar and have now painted over with one coat of Ronseal anti mould white paint.
I have found some more in the cupboard wrdrobe and a few spots appearing all on the slanted part of the roof.
I have not looked into the loft yet at insulation but imagine it will be very poor as the upstairs is colder than downstairs and the ceiling is cold to touch.

Am I right in thinking that the lack of insulation could be the cause of mould?
How does insulation work with slanted ceiling bits on the outside walls?

I am not overly concerned about the LL sorting this as its more for my benefit and health and if needed I can get a tonne of rock wool installed to make it warmed and less mouldy.
The house is 70's coattage style with tile roof and vents in it.
no obvious signs of water so assuming its the cold roof meets warm air.
Any thoughts please?

I want to make it safe, the paint looks the way to go as long as the mould does not come back.
If the slanted part of the ceiling is not able to be insulted above with Rockwool what lternatives are there to keep this warm to reduce the mould growing.

For reference there is no mould downstairs at all.

Sorry here we go.
As you can see I have put some anti mould paint on to stop it and almost within an hour the rooms smell better.
It’s the slanted bit where we seem to get mould, I wonder if lost insulation would actually warm this bit up.
I cannot currently get in the loft but should I need to I can climb to work out how much if any insulation is already there

Have you told the landlord that you have applied anti mold paint to his property?

I have permission to paint, I mean that is not the issue here mainly the mould that could be harmful to health.
FYI - I have a list of alternations I requested prior to moving in and all approved.

Lack of insulation creates cold spots mould prefer, but lack of adequate ventilation allows it to spread.
Do you dry clothes indoors , guarantees mould.

Thanks for the reply, I will check the insulation as adding some might help, the loft has vents in it from looking outside, I believe the gutters were blocked before which has been sorted.
No clothes dried inside, well in the tumble dryer downstairs but that room is fine and vented.
Strange, maybe some insulation is needed to stop the ceiling being cold and causing condensation / mould growth.
its weird its only at the edges of the room where it has the sloped part of the ceiling and in the cold cupboard.

Does the extractor fan work?

there is not one, I have the window open now for the bathroom as the bathroom and toilet are in different rooms.
Bathroom for sure should have a fan or window open but the small toilet didnt have a heater so I put a bathroom heater in there and painted over it so hopfully it will not come back in there.

I get that for the bathroom and toilet, frustrating, so far so good doesnt seem to be growing anymore, I will check the amount of insulation for comfort and overall peace of mind.

Applies to entire house not just the rooms creating lots of moisture.
