Need a new combi drill

OK guys my old drill gave up. Went up in a billow of smoke and everything was actually quiet impressive.

Am looking at these 2

do you have any cordless tools, once you buy into a cordless system, it can become cost effective to stay with the same system.
Would you be buying an impact driver as well. often useful to have both?
& this is for DIY use
I purchased the bit set when i purchased my Dewalt set, but i would not choose a make based on that bit set, its often offered for around £20-30

I own a few ryobi tools already and they all use the same battery so ryobi it is!. Never personally had a problem with the brand had a tool bust up on me a while ago and they replaced it with a new one, no quibbles at all. OK let me refresh the question.

Whats the best ryobi combi drill they make to purchase?

This is pretty much the discussion I had with our last apprentice. It's all very well having a massively powerful, heavy combi drill, but when (in his case) you are going to be drilling 20 times as many 3 and 4mm pilot holes as anything else and won't need to drill heavy steels for a few years, is there any point to having a big 'un?
 
I just want to make sure am buying a quality item. As its going to be my workhorse of diy everyone needs a good drill right . Just want to be making sure that it can handle most jobs thrown at it. I understand there is certain jobs that require more "heavy duty tools". What I mean is if I need to do a job here or there I can pick it up without having to worry about if it will do the job.
 
I went from Bosch to Milwaukee due to the fact that Bosch do not have a charger that can work off a cigarette lighter socket. I emailed Bosch and they told me to buy an inverter. :ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:

I find Milwaukee to be the best cordless drill out of all the other brands I ave owned. I have tried all off them.
