Target Flow temp on Vaillant Boiler

I'm trying to figure out the best target flow setting for my Vaillant Ecotec plus 637 boiler.

What is the acceptable range? It's been set at 55C right now - return is around 40C

55 is fine. Ideally your return should be 20°C lower than your flow but that can be difficult to achieve with a system boiler.
