just looked again and the pipe that comes out the floor is just a piece of Badly cut 110mm and I’m guessing the orange bit that it goes into is a socket and is just pushed in? Haven’t tried to pull
It out but it moves with a bit of force so i suppose if this comes out I’ll have a bit more to play with
Be careful if trying to remove a stub of pipe from a socket, if you disturb the seal, they are the devil incarnate to get back into place, that's if it will go back into place....

I can trim the black elbow on the frame. If I trim it down to the minimum it’s still only 90mm diameter so comes with an adaptor for 110mm.
i only then have 160mm in total left to play with
Really don’t like what I’m about to say as it feels like a bodge it and scarper job. I kinda wanted it to be 100% right. Was probably a bit naive in just assuming Mcalpine had a product for everything!!

could I put the flexible extension in the link into the pipe on the floor. Then a drain connector in the end of this. Then connect my frame pipe to it......
pipe wouldn’t need to be extended much at all but would allow me the offset. Obviously need to support it somehow to stop it being able to move and eventually fail.

Right guys. Thank you very much for your help and input. It’s very much appreciated. I think the poly pipe adjustable elbow I bought should do the job. Just need to shorten the elbow that came with the frame and I think I’m good.

no idea who poly pipe is or if their stuff is any good. Only done this a couple of times before but was always told ‘use McAlpine”.
it’s actually quite hard to adjust so am hoping that means it is a tight seal. I guess with it being fairly vertical nothing should be hanging about like it might if it was a bit more horizontal.
It all feels pretty tight to be honest.
also found the soil pipe coming out the floor as well as being offset isn’t vertical either, it comes up towards you at an angle which I guess can’t be right so this compensates.
fingers crossed I guess for a long and happy uneventful life!
Polypipe are a reputable manufacturer, (factory in Doncaster IIRC), and have been around for at least the last 30 years I know of. (Was using their waste as an apprentice in the late 80's!)
For Pan Connectors, Traps etc McAlpine are the Rolls Royce, but to be honest, with waste and soil, there's not much to choose between the manufacturers IMHO.

Well the frame is in, would have preferred less joints in the pipe. But it is what it is I think. It’s all very tight and can’t really go anywhere. No iffy smells and seals all seem really tight.
I know the angle that it comes out of the floor looks wrong like there is strain on the pipe but it isn’t! That’s the angle the pipe comes out of the floor......
