Hi, we need to remove a radiator ready for having the room plastered but have a one pipe system, is there a way to do this & still have heating without having to wait for warmer weather? Can we purchase a flexi pipe or something to fill the gap? If so, please would someone kindly advise where to look or what to buy. Many thanks.

The rest of the radiators should still work with one off.

...assuming you have a rad valve at each end of the radiator, simply close both and drain/remove the radiator.
If there's only one valve then you'll need to blank that open end if you want to continue to use the heating whilst that rad is off.

While it's off be sure to hosepipe flush it; single pipe rads are notorious for depositing sludge and other cr*p in their middle sections.
