Gutter on a 15 degree pitch single storey extension

Hi.

I have a 15 degree pitched roof.

I have just tried the gutter with the tile in position and it seems like the gutter is too low so if it rains heavy rain water may overshoot gutter.

Here's a pic of what I mean and that's without putting second batten on bottom which I will add. I've placed a batten down the tile to show the line of flow.

So the idea is to remove the felt support tray and then put facia board on higher so I can get gutter right under tiles.

Ignore the pegs as it's been very windy

Any recommendations?

I don't understand the purpose of the batten beneath the bottom of the tile. Your fascia should be doing this job and thus allowing you to place the gutter bracket up closer to the underside of the tile.

I have a felt support tray under the felt. The fascia wouldn't be able to lift tiles unless removed. So only option is to double batten. But the gutter position seems out.

So I could remove support tray. Use facia to lift tiles and then have gutter sit in right position.

would that mean underfelt would be unsupported and could deteriorate over time

Do as the man says and the gutter will go higher.. You can cut the surplus underlay off it doesn't need to be there now

I suggest you put 3 course of tile on your roof and that will give you your fascia height.

No the fascia would be below the membrane and tray
