texecom panel not responding

Loading from what ? Is it a new install ? Or been fitted a few years ? Did it do,it after a power cut ? A bit more information is needed
I take it it's a live panel ? Have you plugged the front keypad onto the com port instead of the keypad port ?

front keypad is plug into the "engineer REW" port, which i think is correct, its not in the com port.
its not a LIVE system, i have it for testing integration with control4.
A live panel is a panel with the keypad on the front !

Have you tried pressing a key ,or power down and repower ,what else is connect to the panel ?
well when the keypad displays the version of the keypad and address, it suggest that it has power but there is an issue with T and R connections, is the correct cable on correctly.
show a picture of where its plugged in, its clear from the picture there doesn't appear to be a fault with the front cover, so suspect cable/ connection.

I have the same issue, which cable was at fault? Did you just remove and replace the cable to the front cover?
