Yaris 1.3 auto, 2002 strange electrical fault

Check the Battery to bodywork cable attachment(s), the 'Earth' - particularly for corrosion.

The car starts and runs ok, battery connections have been cleaned, all ok, still same problem no dash, no interior lights no power steering, can’t get it out of park.
Battery voltage is 12.8v without engine running.

Forgot to say, all fuses have been checked ok, Earth to bodywork cleaned as well.
Battery isn’t flat as the car starts, I just have problem of all the components not working, I’m thinking I need to get it looked at properly as I need it for work.

Reads like a main fuse has failed, or a relay not making contact. A major relay breaking up internally, might match your earlier problem of it continueing to run with ignition off.

It doesn’t run with the ignition off, I didn’t say that.

Does it work with a different key / wiggling the key in the barrel / putting a directional force on the key during turning on /cranking?
Perhaps an ignition barrel failing?
Check battery terminations and earthing points. You can try removing and reinserting fuses / relays.

Only proper way to fault find is with a set of electrical drawings....

I did try the ignition key waggling trick, but still no joy, it does seem to match with a possible relay going now gone as Harry said above.
I’ve booked an auto spark to have a look tomorrow I can’t mess around any longer, I need it sorting.
I’ll post back with what the problem was, assuming he finds it of course.

Auto electrician said I've got a broken or faulty cable on the feed into the fuse box under the dash, he said he's got it working now (I'm still at work at the moment)
Could be a nightmare as access to that fuse board is difficult to say the least.
Anyone ever removed a dash on one of these?
