Dry Ridge and Dry Verge v Conventional Mortar.

Guess this has been asked loads of times previously.

Ive got a mid 70's bungalow with 'Marley Modern' tiles. I'm getting this retiled due to numerous smaller issues, guessing it will work out cheaper in the long term.

My question is professional opinions regarding whether job should be finished as original with mortar or utilise the newer dry systems. Tank you in advance.

I’m an old school mortar man myself. Even on newbuilds I still prefer mortar. The dry verge caps discolour over time.
