Paint for old houses

Any suggestions for makes of coloured paints to paint on internal plastered walls of an old sandstone terraced house. At the moment its covered with wall paper and many layers of emulation paint so the walls aren't breathing and we have Mold in certain corners.
I've been told to buy clay paints specially for old houses ??
Any suggestions ...

Have a look at earthborn paints.

They do a range of breathable clay based paints.

Also have a look at little Greene, they are national trust approved but I can't see them specifically advertising it as a breathable paint.

Graohenstone do natural based products and they do a lime based interior emulsion

You want lime or clay based paint ideally for old houses

Are the outer surfaces of the external walls breathable?

Yes they had concrete render that I have removed i'm going to have them lime rendered on the ground floor area later this year.
