Getting some MK prices.

The cheapest price I can find for a 4 gang light switch is £10.50.

The most was 38.56, ex-VAT!

Crazy.

Have used both Click & Hager and they are both good.

But this is to match a load of Logic +.

I still fit a lot of logic plus and it’s not as good quality as it used to be but it’s not that bad and seems to be reasonably consistent.

I’m not keen on click stuff but lads I work with wont use anything else. I’m keen on Schneider stuff.

I've had some Logic+ switches which had a much smaller switch module and those were horrible, so bad infact that the slight pull from the T&E in the box would make the rocker sit squint. I avoid that style now.

The ones i've bought recently though all have the full size "grid style" module instead.

10.50 at the orange shed.

But I can't find them cheaper, even the regular wholesaler I have been using for 25 years.

Perhaps i'm a cynic, but I've got the impression that MKs strategy is to charge reasonable prices for the basics so people don't rule them out on cost grounds when making the outline decisions, but then charge through the nose for anything "special".

Oddly, I'm in the market for another MK 4 Gang switch.

This time, prices are even nuttier. And most places are out of stock.

What's going on?
