This is a long shot... almost worth not typing but you never know!

I've just bought a Honeywell T6 smart thermostat - sold as 'untested; spares or repair' and I can see why! The receiver doesn't have any terminal blocks to wire to as seen (or not!) below:

I have managed to lash up some crocodile clipped wires to test it in a fashion that'd give an NICEIC inspector sleepless nights and whilst it confirms everything works it's not an ideal permanent solution.

I was wondering: does anyone happy to recognise the terminal blocks that Honeywell use from these views taken off the web:

They appear to be just clipped in and, assuming Honeywell don't supply spares at this level, I'm hoping they might be off-the-shelf rather than bespoke?

If I can't find them it's not the end of the world - I can either lash something up or, if I'm not keeping it (this was part of the reason for taking a punt - I want to see how good/usable the kit is having been quite unimpressed by the Nest equivalent) I can always sell just the transmitter on and not be out of pocket.

I think that kind of enquiry would fare better in the electrical section.

I'll give that a try - thanks. That said, someone here that sees these day-in-day-in might well pipe up and say something along the lines "Honeywell use them in all their products - just buy a cheap so-and-so and cannibalise it!"... or is that overly wishful.

Yes, there's quite a variety out there and I think I've found something close enough in terms of dimensions in some Camdenboss ones at Farnell:

A bit steep when you factor in the P&P and low-value handling charge but could be an option.

Potentially even better though; I emailed Honeywell last night and one of their technical support guys has just got back to me saying he's due to go into the office soon and will have a look if they've got any and, if so, will pop them in the post! I wasn't even expecting a reply to be honest so that's really going above and beyond.

Honeywell usually pretty good tbh, sent me a trv head once. If they haven’t got any, I’ve got an unused bdr91 that may have what you need?

To close this one off: I got in touch with Honeywell to enquire about about obtaining replacement terminal blocks and, to be honest, wasn't expecting a reply about what is essentially a 'low level' repair issue. I was therefore pleasantly surprised when one of their technical support guys said he was heading into the office and would see what they've got. He found a spare backplate and popped it into the post for me - great service Honeywell!
