Hi, I have a Santon Premier unvented water system which gives a great power shower in two bathrooms on a one-level bungalow....

The main tank has damaged and needs replaced but struggling to find the exact one to fit back into the space it currently resides.

Is it time to upgrade to a Combi? and will I lose the glorious power shower?

You certainly won't get the same performance from a combi as you do from the unvented.

Without some careful configuring and water saving fittings you will struggle to run more than one hot water outlet at the same time, never mind 2 good showers and retain any kind of good HW flow.

You should be able to get a new unvented HW cylinder to fit into most spaces, though it would require some re-piping.

Stick with the unvented, no reason why you shouldn't be able to find something to fit in that space.

How many litres does the current UV hold and what are its dimensions?

you would be ill advised to swap to a combi, shouldnt be too hard to get another unvented to fit in there

Upgrade to a combi. What a laugh. I wonder if a combi basher is suggesting that or end user thinks combis are a new invention and a must have appliance to replace old cylinder installation :ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:

Combis are sh it.

God knows why every man and his dog thinks they're so good.

Get another unvented cylinder fitted.
