Lead soaker at bottom of dry valley.

I think I probably need one here, the valley is possibly a tiny bit too low to run into the guttering.

I have some 450mm lead so I'd rather fit one now.

How do I do it? Do I just trim the valley back to the front of the fascia then cut the lead with that "V" shape ensuring there's enough overhang to fit into the gutter, and how far back up the valley should the lead go?

Take the last cutting of grp Valley out and replace with 450mm lead, run it over the fascia and into gutter, check out the top of the fascia to suit if required, turn the lead up at the sides and shape the bottom of lead going into gutter.
Don't put any tile batten in st the bottom.

As per Alistair. Your fascia should remain intact as to provide kick for the those tiles that sit close to the valley.

It's on, no battens! I'll turn up the sides a bit more, seems to sit ok over the fascia and ready to trim and dress into the gutter when I fit it.

That's exactly what I was thinking.

I'd also elongate the valley so that it terminates just behind the fascia. This is so that the water benefits from the shaped valley for as long as possible until it finds the gutter. Otherwise that lead soaker will need some shape to it to prevent sideways movement of water. It's rare but not unheard of, especially if there is leaf litter build up at the bottom of the valley.
